About this blog

The original intention of this blog was to help promote my handcrafted jewelry and beading supplies. However, I believe I lead an interesting life (which Dave gets a lot of credit for), so you will often find ramblings about things other than beads and jewelry! Hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoy living it!!!

Puppy Update

My sister's litter of border collies is approximately 5 weeks old now. Chris reports that they are quite the rambunctious group! For more pictures and additional information on the pups, you can check out the Golden Oaks Border Collies website by clicking here.
Don't ya' just want to undo the latch and let them all out?

Meet Blizzard...quickly becoming my favorite. I just love his face!

Makes me want to jump in their box and snuggle up with them!

What pretty blue eyes you have!

Puppies!

My sister's border collie Rori gave birth to a litter of 7 puppies on Tuesday, 12/01. The sire of the litter is their male, Tyri. The litter is made up of 4 females and 3 males. Both the dam and sire compete in Flyball, and hold several titles. You can check out additional pictures and find more information on my sister's website by clicking here. I'll be sure to post more pics as the puppies start to move around and open their eyes. Aren't they just adorable?!

Wednesday Whispers

(My Wednesday Whispers posts are normally without words, but I just wanted to apologize for the quality of this video. I took it with my cell phone, but just had to share it...it's just that Goose, the mini zebu, is so darn cute!)

Puppy Update

It's been several weeks since I last posted about the puppies, so I figured it was time for an update. Chris and Rich apparently have their hands full! The puppies' eyes are open and they are becoming more active...and curious! One of them will be going home with a family from Chris' flyball team, which means she'll never be too far from one of her littermates as Chris and Rich have decided to keep one of the pups. I've posted a few pictures, but you can check out their website for more pictures and information.
